1. Can I use the Absolution creams alone?
Each Absolution creams can be used alone. Indeed, they are not "neutral basis" used simply to convey the active ingredients contained in the Solutions + (boosters). These are complete anti-aging, regenerating and antioxidant skincare formulated to fight against the effects of aging, even without a Solution +. When your skin is fine and does not require a specific treatment, Absolution creams are excellent regenerating, antioxidant day and night skin cares.
2. What is the advantage of the bespoke usage? How do I know what my skin needs depending on the days and times?
The skin is an ecosystem responsive to the external environment (pollution, air conditioning, wind...) and inside one (tobacco, sleep, hormones, food ...). These are never the same according the days and activities so your skin has to adapt continuously and indeed does not need the same cares every day. Your skin is also a communication organ that expresses itself: buttons, redness, eruption, dull complexion... You just need to pay attention to what it tells you, to observe and listen to know what it requires. Thus, with the 4 Solutions + Absolution, each achieving a specific purpose (Radiance, Revitalizing, Anti-aging, Control), you can customize your cream from day to day, depending on its needs and offer it the ideal care.
3. Why aren’t Absolution products made for specific skin types?
Natural and organic cosmetics have a high bio-compatibility with the skin and balance all skin types, are they mixed, dry, sensitive, etc. The adaptation to the needs and moods of your skin will be done through the use of the Solutions +. For example, if you have oily skin, you can use La Solution + Controle each day until your skin is rebalanced; if your skin is sensitive La Solution + Energy will boost its immune system, making it stronger and more resilient to external or internal attacks.
4. What is the value of using organic cosmetics rather than “conventional” ones?
In the conventional cosmetic, there are many ingredients of animal and synthetic origin. It is difficult to assess their effects on our skin and body after years of application, but recent studies have shown that certain synthetic ingredients are stocked in different body parts (glands in particular) and could be carcinogenic. Moreover, the production process of conventional cosmetics is polluting the environment. Organic products are a guarantee of respect for the man and his environment and dermatologists agree that organic products, thanks to their excellent bio-compatibility, naturally balance the skin.
5. When Absolution products contains less than 100% organic or natural ingredients, what is the remaining percentage made of?
On the one hand, it is extremely difficult to create a 100% organic care unless it is oil or balm. Indeed, to obtain an emulsion, you need water... and water cannot be organic, because it is not farmed! On the other hand, we did not want to deprive our products of some highly beneficial ingredients for the skin, even if they are not farmable (thus not organic), such as natural minerals and vitamins or wild flowers. We also use a small percentage (between 0.2 and 0.6% maximum) of conservatives among the mildest in the authorized list provided by Ecocert certification. A real choice we have made to offer the most effective products possible, with a reasoned and sensible composition.
6. Can I use the Solutions + (highly concentrated serums) alone?
There is no risk using the Solutions + alone. However, the products Absolution are formulated to be mixed, by adding in your dose of Absolution cream a dose of La Solution + of your choice. The formulations of each Absolution products have been developed so that the synergy between them is optimum, and that their effects are potentiated by a combined use. The use of a solution + alone will not necessarily be more effective than the mix of your cream and a Solution +.
7. Why are there a woman and a man skin care if the range is unisex?
Creams are gendered for cultural reasons. While men's skin shows some differences: thicker, richer in sebaceous glands, more vascular… there are no specific ingredients that would be better for man than for woman. Men are looking for effective products with light and mattifying texture… just as women! But culturally, some ingredients may seem too feminine (rose, chamomile, helychrisum, neroli etc.) and/or with odors that do not match their likes. This is why we chose to create La Crème de l’Homme (man skincare) sharing the same hydrating, regenerating and anti-ageing virtues than La Crème du Jour (women skincare) but with different ingredients and so a different scent.
8. How can I know the origin of ingredients used in Absolution skin cares?
It is not always easy to know the exact composition of a «traditional» cosmetic product and identify the sources of raw materials that compose it. The composition of our products can be found on the INCI list that has to be written on every cosmetic product and you will find on our website www.absolution.me an explanatory lexicon of the ingredients and their virtues. Concerning their origin, all the ingredients we use in our products are certified and therefore controlled by Ecocert. This ensures the traceability and manufacturing process of our ingredients, as well as their organic authenticity.
9. With one bottle, how long can I use my product Absolution?
All the bottles of your Absolution cares (creams & Solutions +) were designed to deliver the right dose required for face and neck and allow a daily use of 2 months. However the Solutions + may last longer, since their use depends on your specific needs. All the bottles are airless, which guarantees two years preservation of the products.
10. Can Absolution products be used before sun exposure?
Yes, but they are not solar products, including La Crème du Jour (women skin care) et La Crème de l’Homme (man skincare), even if they both contain a light mineral sunscreen (mica). Some ingredients could in some cases be light-sensitive but we used them at specific dosages that makes our products safe to use.
11. Can Absolution products cause allergies?
Like with any other product there are risks of allergies. Each person can be allergic to specific ingredients and this is not linked with the whole product itself. But, the formulation of our products has been very precisely and carefully designed to minimize and avoid at the best such reactions.
12. Why is Absolution certified by Ecocert and not by Cosmebio? ECOCERT is the historical control and certification organism approved by the French Ministries of Agriculture and Fishing, Economics, Finance and Industry. ECOCERT is implemented in five other European countries and has offices in fifty other countries around the world. Cosmébio is a label created by an association of cosmetics’ manufacturers and is not a certifying organism. Cosmetics certified by Cosmébio have to be previously certified by Ecocert and Qualité France. Cosmébio label does not impose additional criteron to Ecocert standards. It mainly contributes to public communication… This is why being certified by Ecocert is sufficient since Cosmebio doesn’t offer additional warranty or requirements.
13. How can I test the products Absolution while there are no samples? Why Absolution does not offer samples?
Testers are available at all our retailers and in our showroom: feel free to pass by unexpectedly or take appointment to discover our products. As for most of the young cosmetic brands, samples are a very high investment at the beginning... So, we really hope we will be able to offer you some quickly!
