Olibanum resin, boswellia carterii: native to Ethiopia, olibanum (also called Frankincense) is an aromatic resin obtained from trees of the genus Boswellia, particularly Boswellia sacra. It is used in incense as well as in perfumes. It is used for its healing and stimulating properties and its spicy and lemony perfume.
